THE SOLO-PRACTICE REALITY

You didn’t start a practice to become a full-time administrator.

When every appointment, note, reminder, and follow-up depends on you, even a good week can feel scattered.

01

Good clients quietly drift away

You remember to follow up—usually while serving the next client. By the time you have space, the moment has passed.

02

Your day lives in too many places

Calendar events, text threads, notes, and contact details leave you checking three screens for one answer.

03

Empty slots cost more than time

Late changes and forgotten appointments create gaps you have little time to refill.

04

Big-business software feels like work

Team rosters, inventory modules, and complex dashboards add decisions a solo practitioner never needed.

FOCUSED ON SOLO CARE

The hardest part often happens between appointments.

SteadySolo starts with massage and bodywork professionals: a market where practitioners commonly work alone, relationships drive repeat visits, and the person providing care is also running the business.

A profession built around solo work

Timely reminders can matter

A 2013 Cochrane review reported 78.6% attendance with mobile-message reminders versus 67.8% without reminders across the included studies.

Between-visit follow-through is fragile

In a 2026 survey about physical-therapy homework, forgetting or having no reminder was the most common reason given for missed assignments.

THE STEADYSOLO RETURN LOOP

Help each client move from booking to their next right visit.

One understandable flow keeps the relationship moving while the practitioner stays in control.

1

BOOK

Start in the right practice

Invited clients use the correct business page while availability and booking rules protect the practitioner’s time.

2

SHOW

Reduce avoidable gaps

Clear confirmations, reminders, and appointment updates help clients know what is happening and when.

3

STAY CONNECTED

Make the next action easy

Share non-clinical notes or simple client tasks through the portal while private context remains with the practitioner.

4

RETURN

Follow up at the right time

Understandable return cues surface clients who may be due back; consent controls guide how the practitioner reaches out.

Each completed visit begins the next thoughtful cycle.

ILLUSTRATIVE PILOT CASE

What a calmer return rhythm could look like.

This scenario shows the workflow we intend to validate. It is not a customer testimonial or a claim of measured results.

MEET MAYA

Each person signs in to Maya’s business-specific booking page.

02

Keep visits moving
Confirmations, reminders, and updates use one appointment record.

03

Support the time between
Maya can share a non-clinical note or simple action through the portal.

04

See who may be due back
Maya reviews the reason, checks consent, and decides whether to follow up.

WHAT THE FOUNDING PILOT WILL MEASURE

  • No-show rate
  • Return within the practitioner’s preferred interval
  • Clients won back after a check-in
  • Shared-task completion
  • Self-reported admin time saved

BUILT FOR SOLOS

Enough structure to feel in control. Never so much that it gets in the way.

SteadySolo is starting with independent massage and bodywork professionals, then other solo, repeat-visit care practices where one person is both the service and the business.

Your client list stays yours
Business records are isolated from every other SteadySolo practice.

Clients stay in control
Marketing permission and channel opt-outs remain visible before outreach.

You keep the judgment
Opportunities explain why they appeared; you choose the next action.

KNOW WHERE IT FITS

A return layer for solos, not another clinic stack.

Some practices need charting, insurance, payments, and team operations. SteadySolo is intentionally narrower: client booking, continuity, and return rhythm for one-person practices.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Know what you’re joining.

Who is SteadySolo for?

Independent, appointment-based care professionals who manage their own client relationships and schedule. The founding pilot begins with solo massage and bodywork practices in the United States, with room for closely related wellness practices.

Is this an electronic health record?

No. SteadySolo is a client relationship and appointment tool, not an electronic health record, medical device, or emergency service. Pilot users should not enter diagnoses, insurance details, government identifiers, payment-card data, or regulated clinical records.

Can anyone use my booking page?

SteadySolo’s current beta booking flow is invite-only. A client signs in with the email connected to their profile for that specific business before they can see availability or book.

What happens after I apply?

We’ll review whether your practice is a good fit for the current beta, then email you about availability and a short onboarding conversation. Applying does not commit you to a paid plan.

Will Free remain free?

The planned Free plan is $0 with the limits shown above. The beta is still under active validation, so we will clearly communicate any material change before launch.
